Silicon Valley Cyber Attack




A major attack on the Internet on Election Day could effect voter turnout. Basically, if an organized group could take down a huge service like Google Maps through a brute force attack or security hole,  could prevent voters from finding their way to their voting locations. Not too long ago big services like Twitter, Netflix,  and Spotify suffered outages the month of October from prolonged cyber attacks. Their saying that it could mostly effect young voters mostly that rely on their phones to get places and may lean toward to vote for Democrats because it.

  1. I figured a cyber attack would happen on Election Day, since everyone was on the internet at the time as well registering to vote and electronic voting.
