Google fiber??

In the past Google has rarely seem to take a really good finances they spend for their big ideas and creativity. Since restructuring as Alphabet (GOOGL, Tech30) a year ago, the company has pushed for more cost management, sometimes to the frustration of the employees working on the huge projects. "They see fiber as a huge market opportunity," says the Alphabet CFO, Ruth Porat. She also went on to say, "They want to make sure they are making sure they are executing against a largely and attractive market in the most effective and efficient way. So, they are basically trying to go the way with fiber, but in a less costly and more effective/efficient way with their finances and product.
